I have some creative projects for school. So, in that way, I got DNA model as my assessment. It is pretty interesting. So, lets get started.
How to make a model of DNA
Materials required:
♣ White Chart paper
♣ Glue
♣ Pastels [6 colours]
♣ Black acrylic paint and paint brush
♣ Pencil,ruler and some skill and time
♣ Scissors.
Methods:
Step 1:
Collect the materials.

Step 2:
Take your Chart paper and a scissor.

Step: 3:
Cut 2 strips of chart paper with equal width and length.

Now, time for the favourite part of painting. Take your little black paint and colour the strips with a paint brush.

Now, Paper Curling. It is a simple easy way. We just need to fold the strips in a curly way.

Step 6:
The curls would be like this.....Pretty easy!! Isn't it.

Step 7:
Now again cut a strip of chart paper. Now this paper would be used for the purines and pyrimidines.

Step 8:
Then just take your pastels and start colouring.
Here is the coloring rules:
No colour must come in a same row. If you use Red and Yellow in a piece, then you must need to follow coloring red and yellow or yellow and red in a piece. So, I have used Red and yellow [or yellow and red] and Violet and green [ or green and violet].

Start inserting the strips with the help of a glue into the DNA helix without actually disturbing the curls.
Just continue until you finish it off completely.
Tada!! The DNA is ready in no time...
